Full Time or Part Time Opportunity for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Allergist to join a single specialty practice with multiple locations in New Jersey and New York.
Practice Highlights:
- Founded by Jeffrey Weiss, MD in 2004, Impact Medical is a growing Allergy, Asthma and Immunology practice. Current provider staff consists of ten Board Certified Allergists and two Nurse Practitioners
- Impact Medical prides itself on practicing evidence-based medicine with the utmost focus on patient satisfaction and clinical results.
- Expanding busy practice currently with six locations in New Jersey and New York and with plans to add more locations. Each location has a consistent design theme, creating continuity and comfort for both patients and staff.
- Over 100,000 patients registered in the practice.
- The company has invested significant capital into the physical offices in order to provide patients and staff with a comfortable, modern, and clean environment.
- Easy to use Electronic Medical Record system.
- Very efficient and organized office with in-house billing, biologic coordinator and regional business coordinator.
- Current staff: 10 Physicians, 2 Nurse Practitioners, 15 Nurses, 3 Medical Assistants, 1 Office Manager, 1 Regional Business Director & Coordinator, 4 Billers, 15 Receptionists, 2 Human Resource Personnel, and a Financial Controller (accountant).
Clinical Highlights:
- Approximately 50/50 split between pediatrics and adults.
- The practice offers the most up to date and modern diagnostic and therapeutic tools to better diagnose and treat our patients. For example, Full Pulmonary Function tests are performed in the office (spirometry, lung volumes, DLCO, and FENO).
- Excellent system in place to help minimize barriers for patients to receive appropriate treatments and maximize compliance.
- The practice consults on the more challenging cases within our specialty of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology.
- With our strong reputation in the community, we often take care of multiple generations of patients within a family.
- Procedures performed in the office: Pulmonary Function Testing, Percutaneous skin testing, Intradermal skin testing, Patch testing, Open Food Challenges, Open Drug Challenges, Allergen Immunotherapy, Venom Immunotherapy, gammaglobulin IV and SQ infusions.
- Infusion rooms at each location – this allows patients to receive their gammaglobulin infusions here in our offices which results in improved compliance and overall better clinical outcomes.
- The practice has strong experience with the use of biologics – specifically Xolair, Nucala, Fasenra, Tezspire, Dupixent, Adbry, Ebglyss, and Nemluvio.
- The practice participates in clinical research with each location having separate space specifically designated for clinical research. Opportunities will exist for a new attending to be a Principal Investigator (PI) or Sub-Investigator (SubI) if they choose.
- Periodic journal club meetings to review key articles within the specialty of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. Education will be a priority of the practice to ensure we continue to practice evidence-based medicine and remain the most up to date in our field.
- Opportunity to learn from and receive mentoring from experienced physicians.
Compensation package Highlights:
- Competitive Base salary with bonus potential
