Valley Medical Center & Clinics is seeking an experienced and collaborative healthcare leader to join our Cancer Services team as the Nurse Manager of Infusion & Immunotherapy Center. Reporting directly to the Director of Cancer Service Line, this role is responsible for the day-to-day operational management, staff leadership, and clinical support functions of the Infusion and Immunotherapy Center.

About the Role
The Nurse Manager of Infusion & Immunotherapy Center oversees daily operations of the infusion center, supporting nursing and support staff while partnering closely with physicians and Cancer Services leadership to ensure safe, efficient, and patient-centered care delivery. This role plays a key part in maintaining operational excellence, supporting staff engagement, and helping implement strategic initiatives established by Cancer Services leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day operational leadership for the Infusion & Immunotherapy Center
Supervise, coach, and support nursing and support staff
Assist with staffing, scheduling, workflow coordination, and operational efficiencies
Partner with physicians and department leadership to support high-quality patient care and service excellence
Support budget management, resource utilization, and departmental goals
Assist in developing and monitoring quality and performance improvement initiatives
Support regulatory compliance and accreditation readiness efforts
Address operational challenges, staff concerns, and conflict resolution as needed
Participate in staff recruitment, onboarding, and professional development
Foster a collaborative, patient-focused, and team-oriented work environment
Qualifications
Required
Current Washington State RN license
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field
Minimum five (5) years of oncology or relevant healthcare operations experience
Minimum three (3) years of management or supervisory experience
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Experience working with interdisciplinary teams in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Preferred
Master’s degree
OCN, AOCNP, or AOCNS certification
Experience in a unionized healthcare environment
Experience with Epic and Microsoft Office applications
